Hello, I'm Emily Clare. I live in the Macedon Ranges, just north of Melbourne, Australia with my husband Alex and our three rambunctious boys aged six and under. When I was young I dreamed of one day being a farmer; the seeds were sown perhaps when I was aged six to eleven and my dad lived as a caretaker on a solar-powered farm in thick bush by a river on the edge of a city. We stayed with him on weekends and holidays and all that time spent wild and barefoot surely seeped into my soul, a longing to live in a simpler way, trying to do some good by the planet and it's inhabitants. We are now three years into our small farm business raising healthy pasture grazing chickens for meat and eggs and warre beehives for raw honey. We dream of having cows and sheep and a rambling orchard round a tiny homemade house...

Five years ago I was diagnosed with coeliac disease and have set about baking good things free of gluten ever since. My first eBook "The Art of Gluten Free Baking" can be purchased here. I also run local workshops on gluten free baking and homesteading skills - you find more details here. I am happy to run private consultations or workshops in your home or at your business.
